Dr. Nicholas Marotta grew up in Western New York. He attended Canisius College in Buffalo and graduated with a B.A. in Biology. He attended optometry school at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry (PCO) and graduated in 1988. He has been a private practitioner serving the Fairfax/Chantilly area for 20 years.
Dr. Sandra Marotta grew up in Florida and graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Biology. She attended the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, which is now called Salus University. She practiced in Centreville for almost 20 years. She joined her husband’s practice in 2007 to bring further experience to Greenbriar Vision Center.
Dr. Jean Catherine Church (Jeannie) grew up in Yorktown, Virginia. She is a VA Tech Hokie (BS Microbiology) and studied at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry (OD), graduating in 1997. She recently returned to Virginia after living and practicing in California for almost 15 years. While she does miss the constant spring weather of California, she is happy to be back where the seasons change and enjoys hiking through the fall foliage of the Appalachian. In California, Dr. Church worked as a part-time clinical instructor in the Binocular Vision Clinic at the UC Berkeley School of Optometry. She has been with Greenbriar Vision Center since November 2015 and enjoys working with kids and families, seniors and everyone in between.
